We have recently built a new webpage that has a list of the companies, programs, and services that we are aware of that have native integration with Interspire Email Marketer or can be integrated with Interspire with a known or existing patch, addon, or custom code.
The advantages of this type of development are clear. Anytime you edit the core files of the software program you make it more difficult to add future functionality and you make it difficult to upgrade the core software program to future releases and updates.
Changing out those templates after the email has already been created is not very simple. Your unique content (text and images) are not framed into a template in a way that one can just change out the frame and keep the content.
