A common technique used in email marketing to increase engagement and open rates is the use of Emojis in subject lines.
Websites like Emojipedia maintain a large database of compatible emojis that in theory, you should be able to copy and paste into the subject line field in Interspire Email Marketer.
And when you do… it appears to work. Even when you send a test you will think it is working but as soon as you save that campaign the editor will strip out the emoji code and remove it before you can deploy the campaign.
Until now! We have added emoji support as a feature to our TinyMCE editor upgrade addon. With the addon installed you can use as many emojis as your heart desires!
